Made this today (didn't have raspberries, so just used sultanas - I reckon cherries would be nice, too), I shall be taking this to daughter's house and also some of it for our hairdressers - they always fit me in when I ask.

Lol - I didn't get to taste the cake, so this morning made another - just the same! I gave half of the still-warm cake to my cleaner to take home. I like to taste my cakes, but that's all - one piece, then I'm back on the wagon - no cakes or biscuits.
What is this life, if you can't enjoy your food?? Grrr.

Made 2 boiled fruit cakes and a sort of frittata while the oven was on. Half of one cake went to our neighbour this afternoon.

In the end, only made a few small Cakes, they are so handy to take out of Freezer, as and when you need them.

A Loaf of Bread. used the Milk and Water Recipe, that is always nice. I actually like the Crusty Cob best, but always forget the overnight Ferment.

What is a Banneton, Val? Am making a Fruit Cake, and maybe Tarts, or something else small. Found a whole Bag of chopped Apples from last Autumn in the bottom of the Freezer. Will have to use them up.

A banneton, Tina, is a bamboo proofing basket for bread. My son-in-law asked for one for his birthday - he makes sourdough bread - and when I saw it, I thought what a great idea, so bought one for myself!! I have put in a link for you to see what they look like. My one is an oval one, as I find the round ones, once made, make for very wide slices, and I prefer them slightly less wide! No baking today, apart from cooking dinner this evening!!

I made a loaf in the breadmaker - cheating but so much better than mass produced. I always put a couple of tablespoons of powdered skimmed milk in the mix but I've now run out. I've been trying to find some in the supermarket but it seems in short supply - Coronavirus stockpiling perhaps? Will not be making cake for a while as the GP told OH it would help his back if he lost a few pounds. He's not hugely overweight but has a paunch
