Watched 'Strictley', last Night, there were a couple of good Dances, so did enjoy it ,in the Main, but why are the Judges picking on Debbie Mc Gee? every Year the Knives are out for someone. That so called Rev, will hopefully go Tonight, how dreadful can you get? Loved Susan Calman, as 'Wonderwoman'. Wish Brendan would keep his Mouth shut, he does more harm than good, but no constructive Critisisim for his very nervous Partner, poor Girl. Aston and Janette were wonderful . Could not believe Alexandra Burke was Eliza Doolittle, much as I like her, and she danced beautifully, 'come on', anyone less like a Cockney Sparrer, would be hard to find. Lovely Dick Strawbridge is back at the Chateau, Tonight, looking forward to seeing that. better get some Work done. T x

I am with you on all that Tina! Also the Japanese Grand Prix this afternoon when I can do some crochet. I also like Doc Martin much to P's disgust, not edgy enough for him! I noticed a slushy American Christmas movie was on this weekend..I love those too! Anything without any nastiness!

Looking forward to Escape to the Chateau, Tina, but it's the last in the series!

Strictly - I can't stand Debbie McGee, so not commenting further! (I did think Craig's comment about some so-called 10 second rule that has never been mentioned before was petty, though). I like the Rev, he's clearly no dancer but puts in loads of effort and obviously enjoys himself - and he's so funny! Susan Calman is an absolute delight, her characterisation is SO good and she's even funnier than the Rev and is a total joy to watch. Aston and Janette I reckon are going to win, they're just superb. I like that Asian actor (EastEnders? I don't watch it) Davood (fabulous upper body and arms - wow!) - he's good but would be even better if he just toned down his enthusiasm a bit, he's like an excitable kid. And the one-legged Olympian Jonny is good too - if only his partner Oti would let up on him a bit, she's so nasty and bossy! I feel sorry for Ruth, she's just not getting it, she's so scared all the time. I hope she doesn't go tonight, I do like her and think she'd be much better if she could relax and lose her nerves. The blonde girl with Brendan is just terrified, makes me wonder why she signed up for it. I like It Takes Two as well, especially Zoe's interaction with Ian Waite on a Wednesday. Can you tell I'm a bit of a Strictly superfan?!
I'm really enjoying the new series of Cold Feet on a Friday night, loved the original and this updated series is just as good. And the new Supervet - although, now we've got Betty, it seems even more poignant and sometimes reduces me to tears.

I think the reason Ruth is not doing well, is because that Husband of hers, is always there, practically in every take, could be he does not want her to do well! Some Men are very controlling, and I have never really taken to him, just something can't put my Finger on. And 'the Rev' went, just jumping about and flapping a Cape is not Dancing. Roll on next Week. Don't like the new Judge, think she is a pretty nasty Person, underneath. Time will tell. Always loved Ian Waite, and feel he has been a great support to Zoe.

Strictly Tonight, hope Ruth has loosened up a bit, but believe they have the Tango, a very difficult Dance for a tall Person to do. Can't say who is in the firing Line till we see them dance, but based on last Week, unless they have vastly improved, Ruth, Caroline, and Simon. Forgot to get Popcorn, again !

Charlotte seems so confident in her job (well, she'd have to be) and in interviews, but goes to pieces on the dance floor. I reckon the same as you, Tina, it will probably be 2 out of those 3 in the dance off. But then again, you never know, sometimes it's couples who we'd have thought were safe, clearly not enough people vote for them (possibly thinking they're safe!). As for who leaves, it depends on who's in the dance off - and then it will be the judges' favourite who stays.
Like you, Tina, I'm not keen on the new judge either - she's very full of herself and I agree she can be quite nasty. She's not consistent either - sometimes she judges on technique etc, sometimes purely on her heart and how much she liked the dance - it's got to be on technique and competence surely, when you're head judge, otherwise they could have anybody doing it!
It's also very clear that she and Darcy don't like each other much - they're putting on a big show of being overly polite towards each other, but their body language gives them away.

Wow ! that Dance by Susan and Kevin, brought me to Tears, best Dance of the Night for me. Emotional Content, beautiful Dancing. Who would have thought a little round, dumpy, Woman, could Dance like that.? Ruth, might just have saved herself, she was very stately, but the Public do not like her. Brian, needs to go, his Heart is not in it, but bet he was laughing all the way to the Bank. Either him, or Simon, is my Bet to leave this Week. I love Alexandra, but the Dance was too frantic for me. Just love Alijiaz, he is so cheeky, and lovable. Kevin, is a brilliant Choreographer, what a Job he did, this Week.

Yes Susan and Kevin were great, as one of the judges said, she's surprisingly light on her feet. I reckon the public do like Ruth, she's very popular from her morning show with Eamonn and Loose Women, and I think she'll be kept in for a while yet. She was much better this week, more confident. I thought Alexandra was brilliant, loved her dance, shame Craig couldn't have given her a 10 too. I don't like the way Tess manhandles all the celebs, mind you I don't like her much. Claudia is quite funny and she's much more relaxed and natural than Tess, but her jokes are starting to wear a bit thin....the falling over is a bit old hat now, am sure she did exactly the same thing last series.

Can't agree on Claudia Winkleman, hate Slapstick, and she has quite enough Clout to object to it. But thank goodness everyone has a different View, or there would be no Programme. Just heard Darcy is leaving, as she cannot get on with Shirley, supposed to be in the Telegraph.

Oh dear! I haven't read that, but I only flicked through the papers this morning, didn't read thoroughly. It wouldn't surprise me at all if she does leave, but I hope it's not true, I really like Darcy. Apparently, Ruth made a blunder this morning and accidentally revealed too much in a tweet, before tonight's show - she quickly deleted it. Debbie McGee did the same last week, stated on her radio show that the Rev had left, before the exit show - what's wrong with these people, are they that stupid?!

I love Darcy, she always has something nice to say, and gives good constructive Critisism. Don't like the other One, she has a mean Face, and is trying to hide her true Colours.

Looking forward to it, as always. I guess it might be Simon who goes this weekend - although you never know, do you, depends on who's in the dance off. I see Bruno isn't going to be on the show tonight....prior commitments, apparently. And they're not replacing him with a guest judge, it will be just the 3 of them.
There's a new series starting tonight on BBC1, called Gunpowder (about the gunpowder plot, obviously) - it looks quite interesting from the trailer, some good stars in it.

Strictly not so good Tonight, something missing, and don't think it was just Bruno, seemed more subdued, if you can use that Word about it. Enjoyed Ruth and Anton's Spoof Dance, Gemma's Dress was beautiful, so was her Dance. Think that Idiot Brian, must go Tonight, at least Simon is trying, and improving every Week. No, not the best Week ever, pity Len has pickled his Walnuts !
