Grew all my Plants from Scratch, except the 'Sungold' Tomatoes. Will keep Seed from them, now I know I can grow everything from the Plant itself, and even grew a Tomato Plant, from an Axil, just to see if I could, and it has Flowers on it!

Hi Aly, you mention comfrey - is that the plant that is good on the compost heap in helping the pile rot down?
We had just a handful of the Morello cherries, so few, but I have pitted them and mixed them with the red gooseberries to make a jam - a job for tomorrow I think. It'll be interesting to see what they're like together, although being so few cherries, their flavour may not come through!

I bought some, sorry, bought some last year, and forgot where I put it, found it this year, and have used it, supposed to be wonder stuff but did not notice any difference.

Unfortunately our apples are having a year off. Conference pears though have done well this year.

I have noticed this section has not been continued since last year, shame really as the garden is a year to year thing and so i am going to try and offer some daily gardening tips and news from this end of the map, So as it is only 0810am and the dogs need the walkies i will come back later this evening with the gardening done today and the odd tip or two, see you later.

Are we?
Since retiring i do forget what day it is, Many a time i go into my workshop and think "What have i come in here for"
Oh well i can still return to my POETRY.
Here is one just for you,
There was a young lady from "LEEDS" who swallowed a packet of flower seeds,
Within the hour her neck was all covered in flowers,
And her ankles all covered in weeds,
