You're right, Tina, it was a bit lacklustre, none of the dances really grabbed me, unlike last week. I thought Susan and Kevin were undermarked - she may not have all the moves of a professional dancer, but she's so enthusiastic, a hard worker and such a joy to watch.
As for the new Gunpowder series - boy was it gruesome, graphic scenes of very bloody and horrific executions, I'm quite strong stomached but it was very uncomfortable viewing and even made me feel a bit sick. Don't know that I really want to watch anymore. Mediaeval people were certainly barbarians - not only was the method of killing the woman in particular extremely horrific, but the baying crowd watching was just as nausea inducing.

That is why I do not watch Sue, have not the Stomach for it. Rather have less Violence, not more. Am watching the new 'Bake Off' but it is rubbish. absolute rubbish, they started off making coloured Bread Edifices, never even heard of that, Pastry, on a red hot Summers Day, never going to work, don't think they can justify another Series.

Well that Numpty has gone, it has been said that he was booked for Panto, and was worried he would not get voted out in time. He never put much effort into his Performance, so he will be laughing all the way to the Bank! I have never liked the Halloween Show, impedes a good Dance, usually. not into all that rubbish. Thought Tess looked lovely Tonight, that Hairstyle suits her.

Am also getting bored with Strictly and the Bake off. Enjoying the new Ben Fogle series about mad people who live in strange places! Not sure that is how it is described!

Haven't watched any of the Bake Off since it moved and Mary and the girls left. Even though I like Sandi and Noel, the programme just doesn't appeal anymore.
Can't wait to see the new David Attenborough Blue Planet, think it starts this Sunday, we enjoyed the first series years ago and the trailers they keep showing of the new one look fabulous.

Yes I thought it looks like being good. As long as there are not too many scenes of killing which I cannot cope with. I know it happens but I do not like to be shown the detail!

Enjoying Strictly, some very good Dancers this Year, still can't take to Shirley. Love, 'Back in Time for Dinner' where is the Mother coming from, she is so inept. Fancy thinking two huge Chops would cook on a Camping Stove.

Also love Ben Fogle, watched the one where they built their House on the Water, and she grew all their Food. but have to turn off if any killing involved.

What did you think of Aston going out, Sue/ really liked him, he was one of my Favourites, but think the Music choice was awful, and then practicing their Dance in a Graveyard, obviously offended a lot of people, and rightly so, as they wrote in to 'Points of View' to complain. So people who would have voted for them did not, the Music, and Outfits were carp too.

I'm gutted Tina, I really thought he was a strong contender to win. Ruth is the worst dancer of the bunch but I knew she wouldn't go out this week, Anton losing his balance and falling over at the end and Ruth deciding she might as well throw herself on top of him and go for full comedy effect ensured they would stay in. I'm surprised Jonny and Oti got through, he looks so uncomfortable when he dances (not so much because of his false leg, but I think because he just feels self conscious and embarrassed), although he did some fantastic lifts. I know Debbie is a very good dancer but I still don't like her at all. I like Alexandra, but don't think she's doing herself any favours, she's clearly absolutely desperate to win and it shows.

Unlike you Sue, I do like Debbie, but that Dance was so clinical, and for the Judges, left me cold. Loved Aston, and really thought he would make the Final. But, bad Music, bad Costumes, and rehearsing in a Graveyard, there are some things you don't do, and out of Respect, that was One of them, People were so inscensed and wrote into Points of View about it. Janette, and her alone scuppered their Chances, and our Enjoyment.

Looking forward to 'Strictly', think it will be a great Night, as everyone wants to make Blackpool.

Have given up watching it Tina. It was wrong to get rid of Aston and keep Ruth in. I feel it is corrupt! Running out of things to watch now.

It was, yes, Aston was by far the best dancer out of all of them. But it was the public not voting for him that put him in the bottom two.
It's sod's law that there are 3 things on tonight that we'd really like to watch...all starting at 9 pm - honestly, it's either nothing worth watching or loads! Fortunately, we can record the 2 films and watch the Festival of Remembrance.

In my View, the British Public did not vote for him, because, the Music was awful, so were the Outfits, and last of all, they showed no respect for the Dead, by dancing in a Graveyard. There are some things you just don't do, and that lost them the Votes.
